We have two levels of icons:

System or framework-level icons
Generic icons

Framework-level icons

The website UI includes icons for such elements as the mobile menu, checkboxes, selects, and other 'baked-in' patterns. These aren't intended to be extended.

Generic icons

These icons are intended to be used in block-level headings, and select other patterns.

If you want to use a certain icon, use its identifier or id in the data-icon="" attribute.

Here's an example using the spark icon in a block-level heading:
